Food was very good, ambiance a little lacking, service was good and waitstaff very friendly. I read previous reviews and we had no trouble being seated and the service was NOT slow. I'm giving it a 3 because of the physical plant, just not interesting . There are a lot of breakfast places / brunch places on the north fork, and although, like I said , the food was good , I probably wouldn't try hard to return. It was fairly busy, not a holiday weekend, just regular summer weened and it clearly is a popular place.

This is not the review I thought I'd be writing for Jeni's because it came so highly recommended. We didn't even dine there because we were disappointed from the start. Word travels on the North Fork, esp with Social Media. After highly publicizing their partnership with NoFoDoCo for a chicken sandwich on a donut, we drove 45 minutes to Jeni's only to find out it's on the dinner menu. However, on their website it's on their "menu" that doesn't specialize dinner vs lunch. The rest of the menu was incredibly lack luster so we left.
**fellow foodie bloggers, if you're looking for this staple, better off getting the donut from nofodoco and making your own! -

Went here on Monday - Memorial Day. There was a 40 minute wait, with 5 open tables. One Hostess and 3 waitresses...on Memorial Day. We stood at the hostess table and it took 10 mins just to put our name down.
I get it's a holiday, but this is the north fork on Long Island on one of the busiest days of the year. Need to be better prepared. -

This is our go to Breakfast stop. They recently started doing pop ups for special occassion dinners and once again have us hooked. We dined as a 5 for Valentines Day and had an awesome time. So many local faces to chat with. Full bar and menu items to choose from. We had winter salad and oysters Rockefeller (omg!) for apps. Main courses of shrimp, pasta and steak. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. Dessert was chocolate layer cake and chocolate wontons with ice cream and plenty of spoons. Great job by Jeni and staff! Highly recommended.

Jeni's was recommended to us by a local lady.... super yummy! The restaurant is very nice, not super fancy but pleasant and clean. The service was very attentive and timely. The food was great! All in all, terrific breakfast. I would recommend Jeni's to anyone!
